In a world where everything changes rapidly, influenced by passing fads, we have looked back trying to rescue objects made slowly and designed to last.

THE BEGINNING

María Rosa y Javier have been friends since childhood and founded Casa González & González. From the time they were little in Extremadura, they were in contact with those timeless objects, made slow, with lasting materials and simple aesthetic.

As time passed they both developed their personal and professional interests in Spain and abroad, until 2015 when they found themselves both living in the same city: Madrid. After numerous coffee conversations, on their philosophy of life, travel, books, spirituality, art and design, they came to a point of deciding to bring to fruition this project that had been brewing, and that continues in its unique niche in Spain. On March 1, 2017 they opened the doors to their little space in calle Pelayo.

González & González is a place that turns back time, that allows us to surround ourselves with timeless simplicity.

INSPIRATION

You’ll find a careful selection of traditional objects (mostly from Europe, but also Japan and Korea), for daily use in our homes. These are timeless, genuine and funitional objects that have always been made well and have stayed relevant over the years in these different countries.
